Livestock Judging Triumph
The members showed their skills in livestock judging, securing a well-deserved 3rd place in the Junior team category. Layla Smith's outstanding performance earned her the title of High Individual, while Adrian Walker earned a commendable 5th place as a High Individual. Their dedication and expertise in livestock judging were truly commendable.
Fun and Games at the Corn Hole Tournament
It wasn't all work and no play at the Bryan County Fair! Durant FFA & 4H members took part in the corn hole tournament, where they demonstrated their competitive spirit and teamwork. They may have finished 4th overall, but they had a blast participating in this exciting event.
Another Successful Show
We are immensely proud of the Durant FFA members who showcased their livestock at the Bryan County Fair. Their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts have truly paid off, and their passion for agriculture shines brightly. Their commitment to raising quality animals and their remarkable work ethic have been nothing short of inspiring. Their achievements at the fair speak volumes about their skills and determination.
Among the standout accomplishments, Layla Smith clinched the title of Breed Champion Heifer. Our Durant students also had all three breed champions in the grand drive of the Steer show: Kori Jo Whitley - Cross, Braden Hamilton - English, and Layla Smith - Brahman. Continuing their winnings, Kori Jo Whitley went on to win Grand Steer, while Braden Hamilton received Reserve Grand Steer!
